For the eleventh time straight, the Toronto Raptors won against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers have not beaten the Raptors since November 20th, 2014 during the 2014-15 season. During the game on Saturday August 1st 2020, Kyle Lowry dominated by scoring 14 rebounds and 33 points total.
" He was vintage Kyle tonight" Coach Nick Nurse said. "He was scoring and flying around and taking charges and competing and getting us some critical buckets. he was great." Lowry hit a big 3pt shot for 97-86 lead with 3:01 to go in the last quarter.
As Lowry led the game, Lebron lead the Lakers by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Anthony Davis with only 14 points was shut down by the Raptors having a FG% of 28.6%. yet the Lakers FG% was 35.4%, a season low for them.
